April 30, the full moon of Vaishakh month, is celebrated as Buddha Purnima i.e. Gautama Buddha’s birthday. Gautam Buddha also attained enlightenment on this day. He was born in a village in Nepal in 563 BC, which has become a pilgrimage site today. Apart from this, many temples of Gautam Buddha are famous for their unique features. Today we are going to tell you about some such temples of Gautam Buddha, which are famous for their different specialties all over the world.

1. Mahabodhi Temple
